Drinking Water / Drinking Water Assistance Programme

Safe drinking-water is a necessity for people's health but many small New Zealand communities do not have access to drinking-water that is shown to be safe.  The Ministry of Health’s Drinking Water Assistance Programme includes the Capital Assistance Programme which provides funding to eligible community drinking-water supplies to help them provide safe drinking-water.

For more information on the other aspects of this programme, visit the Ministry of Health's Drinking Water Assistance Programme webpage.
